Our Rural Dean, Reverend Dr Jane Mainwaring has announced the following news:
‘After 16 years of being their vicar I will be leaving St. Mark’s on 9th Feb. This will also mean that I will cease to be Rural Dean. The reason for this move is that I have been appointed as the next Archdeacon of St.
Albans. It has been a great honour to be Rural Dean over the last four years and to have seen the deanery develop in such a positive way, with great people joining over the many vacancies! You are an amazing group of people to work and minister with. I look forward to continuing to minister alongside you in a slightly different way. My service of Collation will be on 14th March at 2pm, probably in St Mary’s, Hemel Hempsted. It would be lovely to have your friendly faces there if you are able to make it!’
