We are a growing church with the mission to share the life-giving love of Jesus with everyone and we have exciting plans to expand our mission and outreach in the year ahead. All of this is possible because of the power of God that is at work within us, and because of the dedicated commitment of prayer, time, skills and energy that people bring to our church and also the financial support given week by week.

Ways to give – Regular payments

Standing Orders –

The most effective way to give regularly is by standing order. You can set this up directly with your bank using the details below. We would also love, if you are willing, to reclaim tax relief on your donation by using the Gift Aid Scheme. Please complete this form and return it to us –

Please be aware that some people have had a problem when setting up a standing order because sometimes our CAF account cannot be automatically validated by other banks. You may therefore receive a warning message. Weekly envelopes –

As an alternative to standing orders, we run an envelope scheme that may interest you. You can request a box of weekly envelopes from Sylvia Wildey. Ways to give – Ad-hoc payments

We appreciate that not everyone can give on a regular basis. If you would like to make ad-hoc payments then the most effective way to do this would be direct to our church bank account. SumUp –

We have a card reader facility onsite for those that (like me) rarely carry cash. It is more difficult for us to claim gift aid on these donations, so please do speak to Colin our treasurer if you are using it regularly and are keen for the tax relief to be claimed.

Cheques –

We are still able to receive and bank cheques. Please make any cheques payable to St Thomas of Canterbury Church, and please do consider enabling us to claim the tax relief on your donation by using the Gift Aid Scheme by completing this form –

Cash –

During our Sunday service, we also have the opportunity for people to give cash. We have gift aid envelopes that can be completed if you wish, enabling us to receive an extra 25% on top of your donation through the Gift Aid Scheme.

Gift Aid –

We ask, wherever possible, for givers to sign up to the Gift Aid Scheme so that we can claim the tax relief on your donation. This increases your giving by 25% and it makes a huge impact to our church. Please complete this form and return it to us –
